When I try to start my car sometimes all i get is a clicking sound. It sounds like the bendix is kicking in, but the starter is not turning. Sometimes it will just start right up no problems. This has happened to me before, I replaced the alarm relay, the battery and the starter. It started doing it again about 3 weeks ago and has gotten really bad in the last week. Just looking for any ideas.

 

how long have you had this starter? sound like it going bad.
