almost any exhaust for the evo doesnt sound ricey they are all pretty deep in my experience. the best i've heard are the RS*R exmag GT2, GReddy Ti, GReddy Ti-c, HKS Carbon Ti, Buddy Club Spec III, for some reason i liked the sound of the ebay exhaust lol really deep, the RRE stealth exhaust is good too. the invidia concept G blue is really good. my.02

+1

I have the ams catback (soon to be a turbo back) and I love it. Its deeper than stock but its not too loud yet. So thats what I would suggest. How much are you looking to spend?

AMS Turbo-back with HFC. That's what I've got. At idle, it's a purr, while cruising on the highway I can still talk on my Bluetooth headset that's got horrible gain, and at WOT it sounds evil.

It also exits the car straight and in the center of the exhaust cutout, which was important to me. I didn't want my exhaust to look like I had been rear ended by another car.

+1 I love the way my RNR exhaust sounded with the HKS muffler, *cough cough* to bad its really ebay stuff and we all got the big one

Buschur and AMS sound very nice, and The ETS exhaust sounded nice from the video's but I havent heard it in real life yet.

The ams catback is $600 and its a full 3" all the way down. I like it and ams makes very good products for evos. But I would suggest searching for sound clips and find one that you feel will be the best for you.

Im going home tomorrow and I think I would be able to make a video of my ams catback. I found some clips on youtube or google video. Try searching google for some videos and I'll post one up this weekend.
