FP HTA35r Dyno #’s w/ Meth

FP HTA35r Dyno #’s w/ Meth

So I went back to The Shop in Norwalk, CT to see what the HTA could do with pump and Meth on a Dyno Dynmaic’s. First round with just 93 octane, on a conservative tune (zero knock count) and 21 psi was 440 whp and 400 wtrq. I was EXTREMELY happy with these numbers. My car with the green and meth on this dyno made 430hp 415 trq.

Now for the good stuff:
Drove to The Shop this rainy Saturday night(off course it’s the place to be . So I turned the boost up from 21 psi to 27 psi to get ready for the meth . And again the HTA put down some impressive #’s!

543 whp but I was even more excited about the 500 wtrq!!

I was worried that the 35r would loose all the torque that the green and smaller turbo are well known for.. But not with this HTA35r and 7psi less then the green!

Well with my old # with the Green (487 whp and 510 trq) https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/showthread.php?t=293801
the car ran and 11.2 @123 my first time out..

With another 50 hp I should be in the 10’s around 130 on pump gas w/meth. This is exactly what I was shooting for.. But only one way to confirm once the tracks opens in the Northeast!

All I know is on Pump and Meth This thing is a sick animal! All tuning was done with ECU flash and Mitsulogger (free and free). Thanks to everyone for their help. The Guys at The Shop were awesome, Jimmy for staying open late and Getting me on the dyno between his stage II and IV testing for his 08 STI (which was sick). And Junior for hanging out and giving me an awesome tune! That is extremely safe and conservative and works like a CHAMP!

MODS:
HTA35r w\.63 AR 5 bolt
RNR Manifold w/38 TIAL WG
APS Intake
APS 3inch Complete Exhaust
BF 272 Cams
Stock ECU,MAF, Intake mani and Cylinder Head
2.0 liter
HKS DLII Ignition
Hyperflow Large IC with THE SHOP LICP
SMC Meth Kit with small Jet

Here are the two dyno runs from above..

Well u just made my decision for me. Assuming your just headstuds on your 2.0, my next mod is hta gt35r! The guys at the shop are awesome and I have a junior tune from his ics days. Congrats and thanks for proving this beast

How's the idle with the BF 272 cams on the stock ecu? I'd imagine its pretty choppy.

thanks for the corrections but ya im wondering cuz i was thinking of going 3076r but alot of ppl are saying go 35r with meth to hit that 500 whp mark..so now im wondering if the 35r will produce to much lag because i want a everyday car where i can be in traffic and not bog everywhere and still be bale to run 11's at the track

so thats why i am asking either i would go with 3076 or the 35r also i will be getting tuned at ICS so i heard alot of good things about them and how well they tune with the meth kits and bigger turbos

i would say go with the hta 35r. it seems to spoolup like a 3076 or sooner with more power on pump and much more on race gas

Really nice job Freddy302. Were the tires slipping on spool up? Looks like around 4900 the torque/whp did something funky a couple of times. You're using the HTA35R exactly how it should be used on the street. Very nice! Congratulations.
