car will not stop throwing p0172 and p0500 codes

My buddy doesnt have internet access right now so Im posting for him

I have an 06 evo IX 25k miles with buschur uicp, licp fmic, tial BOV, cosworth 272 cams, mitsubishi 20g turbo(not the fp green), ported and coat mani, fp wastegate actuator and o2 housing, megan TBE catless, and car was tuned by pruven performance. car will not stop throwing p0172 and p0500 codes.

the car will run fine for about 2 days then out of no where the CEL comes on with the same two codes. the car then starts running very rich and the idle surges everytime you let of the gas. if you reset the computer, then the car runs fine for two days or so then it starts throwing codes again. i changed the iac, tryed recirculating the bov, fuel pressure is right at the spec, MAF is clean, no boost leaks what so ever, i dont know what is wrong with the car.

help

Can he read his speed? (I throw that code on Evoscan which throws bogus codes anyways)

Secondly the 172 code may need a new tune...

has he logged the car at all? Doesnt sound like it...

bump on checking your tune, and also check the wiring by ur computer for the P0500 code, or check the speed sensor on the trans. its in the back of the tranny on top of the differential. Good luck
