How much faster would a evo lap around a track compared to a evo without acd?

Depends on the driver, the track, the conditions, the tyres.

It might even be slower.

It makes a noticeable improvement in the snow, I'm glad I have it.

yeah, you can feel the difference but as for the track times it really does depend on the driver. lol, Im sure a driver who masters the car w/o the acd could smoke me

Well my thoughts on this are give Tommi your keys with an acd car and he will kill you. give him your keys w/o an ACD car and he will kill you, give him your keys to your acd car with you without acd and he will kill you, give him your keys with your no acd car and you with an acd car and he will kill you. i think you see where im going here. i really think this is based on skill first and driving style second.

every day drivers though, ACD probably would be a good thing,.

With the same driver testing on an 04 w/o ACD and an 05 w/ACD....maybe a few tenths (depending on track length and amount of turns/degree of turns). The ACD really only will help when the driver takes it into a hairy turn at a high speed. So like I said, it would probably vary from a matchup on a track with a lot of tight turns to a track with only a couple.

My theory at least....
