My current mods are a Full exhaust system (decatted), drop in filter and the boost pill change (I went for the 1 mm drilled hole) with a tune from Mellon giving me a 26 Psi spike on 96 Octane fuel. With boost spiking at 26 psi I dynoed at 340hp and 340 lbs on the wheels. I have an evo 9 with the stock turbo and ecu.

I now have a Wallbro fuel pump, Greddy Intercooler, 720cc injectors and Gsc 1 cams on the way to me from the US&A . Later on I will add a larger turbo.

Question for now is, can I drill an even smaller hole into a new boost pill (like 0.9mm) and try to achieve even higher boost on 98 octane fuel or do you think 26 Psi is already max for the stock turbo.

Is it possible to gain 40whp with my new mods without raising boost above 26 Psi?

Just have Mellon re-tune you...

 

well with intercooler, new injectors, fuel pump and cams i think you should definately be able to see around 40whp with those upgrades. especially with a mellon tune.
