Question AMS twin rail manifold or 1200cc injectors?

This is the question.

Going for 700whp.
From what I'm seeing 1200cc injectors should be adequate for this...

but what about for daily driving...
would having a twin rail make it more comfortable?

any guys out there using the twin rail from AMS..?

You dont need a twin fuel rail for 700whp. 1200cc are fine at that hp level. You need twin rails when you start running out of duty cycle or over working the injectors on a 42R with 1600cc.

There are many threads that show a list of parts with people with 700whp. Do a quick search and you will see for yourself.

^yeah I saw that..that's how I know that 1200cc's are fine...

but was just wondering if there would have been any difference in driveability (even minimal) by using the twin rail

Everyone says that big injectors have come a long way since the days of trying to idle at 800rpm and 1000cc injectors. People just couldn't get the trimming and duty cycle correct.

Personally at any point where I have the choice no matter what the HP level is I would run dual injectors for the ability to run stock one's primary and all 8 or the outter most 4 when you reach a certain rpm or boost level.

The AEM can control it and I assume you have a good tuner so you have that option.

I did a little reading and the finer the mist of fuel the better atomization you get. Also moving injectors further out help with atomization and potentially the tumble effect entering the cylinder.

all that means is potentially more power out of the same amount of fuel and air

nice info..thanks

wish there were some people out there using this manifold..
some feedback would be great..

I think there's no harm at all in using the twin rail...only benefits..
but was just wondering if it's overkill

I am using the twin rail set up and I love it, it is nice having such good drivability with the capacity to run much more. Also this gives you the option of running a high HP E85 car where having a single set may sacrifice drivability.

possilbly 750+hp I was thinking the same thing, AMS twin rail or 1600cc or 1200cc ?? I need the best drivaility for low boost . if we go with ams twin rail what would be the best injector?

as already mentioned i would use a smaller injector as your primary maybe like a 680 and then maybe a 1000 secondary. the 1000's would kick in at a certain boost level or rpm. you just have to have a good standalone to be able to control primary and secondary injectors.
