Pics of external wastegate on stock turbo?

I am trying to figure out how to route my dump tube for my external wastegate. Looking to see what others did.

Why is the question? lol.. Not like your going to gain any power or hold any more boost. Waste of money IMO

Chris you are a newb. Don't give me advice. LOL.

Since testing on this cannot be found and was done on a smaller turbo I have taken it upon myself to do some testing. A lot of people on this forum are very interested to see and myself includes one of them. I am also aiming to hit the highest stock turbo pump gas record on stock block. This might give me that extra bump needed.

This will definitely let me hold boost and not taper like the internal wastegate. The test that I heard Buschur do a very long time ago was that he did gain top end but lost midrange torque. Well now that our mivec friend is in this game and we have slightly larger turbos it is going to be interesting to see what this will do.

I now have a dyno the I can jump onto that will show gains since not too many of you like seeing data logs. This test will answer a lot of questions commonly asked about this mod. If I gain then great. If not then at least a trial test was done.

I have always wanted to contribute a test to the evo community. This is one I know I can do. Thanks Chris for the support.

Pics will be up in a couple of weeks. I have to break in the clutch first before so I can get before and after runs.

It works wonders on the DSM guys and they have a small turbo.

I think mivec is going to be very helpful compared to Buschurs test with the loss in midrange torque. I wish I could have seen what mods were on the car but nobody can find it and I am not going to bother him. This unit will definitely see a gain. The question is that is the gain worth the hassle of doing this? Will this mod be for most bolt on cars? No. This might work great on the Stock IX turbo or even better for the green and soon red when it comes out.

Not only will I test this on pump but meth also. The torque issue will be completely eliminated when running 30lbs. Now what I will be holding is undecided and 4 wheel slide and I will play with that when it is all said and done.
