Where to look

I have a 81k 03 8 with a mail in dynoflash and a K&N drop in as the only mods. I've been noticing just how flat WOT is. I did a simple test on it from 65-85, after being held in a steady state at 65mph in 4th. The first pull was at near WOT and went in about 5 seconds (counted one-thousand one...). The second run produced similar results from about 2/3 throttle. I also brought it down to 60 and did a down shift to 3rd and to 4th, and that felt rather unremarkable.

I need to to some more runs and get better time references. It seems to me that WOT should have more grunt, but I have no other Evo to test it on. Is there any place I can look for common gremlins that may be holding my car back?

It's been a while since I've run a boost leak check, but the plugs are rather new. I've never run a compression test on it before. I've noticed that the car does make an intake sound very similar to the BOV sound under boost; but again I have no other car to check it against. The boost gauge shows about 19.5 lbs. of boost, depending on the temperature, on load.
