Qucik injector question

Hey all, quick question. Last night my stock injector on cylinder one crapped out. I've been calling around for injectors and the cheapest are the dealers @ 150 each. Now I found a set of PTE 880cc injectors for 270 shipped , I was thinking to get them because I'm going E85 as soon as it's available here. My question is, what would be the drawbacks, if any, of using these until e85 is available here in the Northeast?

No, you will just have to scale them properly for them to work. Check out the EcuFlash forum for a great thread on injector scaling and latencies. I am running PTE 1000cc's on the stock ECU.

If your going to do E85 I would suggest you run 1000cc's. 880's will probably be too small. Theres plenty of people running 1000ccs no problem on stock ecu.

Thanks for the help guys. I found the post for scaling the injectors and it looks like I can run the 880's or 1000's when scaled properly. I thought 880's were sufficient for e85. Didn't a shop sell e85 kits that included 880's. Either way I wouldn't mind getting the 1000's just to be safe
