Hey guys

i just recieved my AMS non race core fmic with the upper and lower intercooler piping it looks great very well put together

my question for you guys is it came with all the couplers to connect all the piping together but ti did not come with the couplers to actallu connect it to the intercooler itself

im wondering what you guys did? did you guys order ones from AMS or is it suppose to come with it

i dont get how i ordered the piping and the fmic but it did not come with the couplers to hook up the piping to the actual FMIC

I THINK they want you to retain the stock FMIC.

I have seen the stock Upper pipe handle 35R's, it adds like 3WHP and a touch of throttle response, nothing big man.

Stock couplers are very strong. You will need to upgrade clamps and thats about it.

If you're looking for 2.5" 45 degree elbows I've got two samco ones for sale which I used on my AMS FMIC.

The ETS should have come with t-bolts. My friends did at least. Its amazing that the couplers that come on the Evo can handle 21+psi... I was blowing them off left and right on my SR20 w/ a T25 turbo and only 14psi. I highly recommend t-bolts just so you won't have any headaches trying to put your LICP back on on the side of the road. The couplers themselves are fine though.

I have stock couplers on 30psi, no problem.

Get Tbolt clamps.
