stock evo 8. . . what are the 1st performance to buy for it

hi i have a stock 03 evo 8 and i was just wondering wat r the most important upgrades to buy for it like an exhaust system etc please help

Upgrade your POS plastic diverter Valve for a better one.. and get ^^^ this guy's tune along with parts.. lol

oh, don't forget the Walbro 255lhp fuel pump...the stocker on the 8 is weak so if you're going to continue modding beyond the before mentioned parts you're going to need it anyway.

thats by far the best advice ever my friend bboy_res on here got tuned by mellon and loves it . yeah dont do buying an intake like i did go with the k&n drop in filter i later as i gain knoldege sold my intake for the drop in oh and no fancy blow off valves just get the metal stock blow off valve

Check out www.amsperformance.com and look at the stages for a stock turbo set up that should get a better idea of all of the important bolt-ons you will need.

Get a good 3" turboback with o2 housing, intake-hks seems to be one of the best, 255 walboro fuel pump, boost controller, and cams if you want. Without the cams you should be @ or around 300whp with a custum tune. With the cams and a custom tune you should be @ or around 350whp. Preferbaly install the fuel pump and intake right before the tune or the night before.

I forgot jdm or evo IX diverter valve. The aps bov is another good solution to the crappy VIII plastic diverter valve.
