hmm, weird oil leak.. help!!

took the car for a ride around the block today since it was pretty decent out, then while pulling back into the garage i notice a pretty steady trail coming from the car when i got out.

any suggestions where this is coming from? what should i check into first.. does it look like an oil pan gasket leak? it kind of seems its coming from behind the black plastic piece right there, not sure though!

^^ drips directly down onto the line

ok, just took off the cam gear cover. there is oil on part of the cam gear cover and all over the belt.. nothing seems to be coming out of the cam seals

looks like cam seal and shouldn't you change the timing belt and clean all the oil off everything now that every pulley and tensioner is covered in oil

Do not drive your car anymore. Fix the leak. If you dont the belt will snap very soon and you will be rebuilding your engine.

the car isnt moving untill i find what's leaking, i will top off my oil and start it tomorrow to see where its coming from.

the engine bay will be degreased and cleaned before it comes out again.

dont think its a headgasket, nothing in the oil and coolant levels are good

seeing as how the back side of the exhaust cam gear is wet I would start there (cam seal).

I'm happy to hear you found the source of the leak. However, if there is oil on the timing belt it is still serious.
