it turns over, well I guess my buddy is getting it towed so that AMS can get it looked at. Sucks for him doesnt' have a garage at his disposal and it's just too cold out side to do some commando style mechanic work.

never heard a alternator can cause a car not to start...you said you have fuel but did you check for sparks? it not that hard to check for sparks and it only take a few minutes.

my boy took the ride to AMS it was the fuel pump. There was a short which in turned caused the fuel pump to tweak out. AMS is installing a new walbro fuel pump $200 bucks out the door.

So $100 labor to install a fuel pump..... damn.. that seems like a lot..

Yeah but my guy had to tow the car there and they still are trying to find out what shorted the fuel pump, so it's not that bad of a deal.

I told my guy to tow the car back to my house so that we can do the fuel pump

thanks for all your responses

you should of just changed the pump yourself. very easy to do. i did mine in about 25 minutes, in and out.

but at least you are having them figure out why it shorted out. so in the long run, it's good for you. g/l with everything.
