Thanks guys.

The testing that was posted from WWII era, from what I glanced at I think that is for cooling the intercooler and not the actual charge air that is being put through it, right?

no its about the way you did the inlet on the face of your race ic... and tested between 3" icp and 2.5 icp.

Looks as though the only good thing the 3" UICP did was hold a little more boost at 8k rpm...Interesting test...

The temps are in F.

The 3" did have more boost at the end but still less power.

Hypertune intake and Hypertune TB.

Interesting results. The fact that everything varied by 7whp at most on a 600WHP + car even further proves the nil gain/losses. 7whp on a stock evo would be fairly substantial.. but on that monster, can you even feel a 7whp gain? I'd spend most of my time either pissing myself or laughing my *** off to notice..

Great news Dave... thank you .

I was worried the 3in UICP would have made more power, and I was gonna have to change that to .

Do you think if you put some ice on the pipes and intercooler it would have madea difference? I know its cold out, but you never know

DEIpro, that's a class-act statement! You, also, are to be commended for making a statement about a fellow tuner. You have stated what many of us have known, David Buschur is an honest and straight up guy. The more he does, the more we realize it. It's a shame that everyone can't take the time to see him in action. Cheers to David and you.

DB, now that I've bought you a beer, let's get back to work! Can the Race mount IC be modified in the exact same config as the deluxe IC? Facemount 2.5 in and side-mount 2.5.
