Forged Recirculating BOV Boost Cut while Cruising
Okay so i bought my car a few months back and it came with a Forged bov non RS model. It works fine when racing but when i am cruising in 5th on the highway and i give it a little gas and get on boost, the car starts stuttering aka boost cut. Some people tell me its the tune of the car, others tell me its the forge bov that works great when racing but is a pain in the neck when just cruising and trying to pass somebody while in 5th.
So what do you guys recommend would resolve my problem? How do i fix this bov?
Or if you recommend i get another BOV which 1 do u recommend?

does it have an adjustment screw on it???
I have a greddy RS w/ the evomoto mod done to it and it works great. The BOV can be opening while accelerating.

So who does not have this problem? and what bov do you have?
ohhhh no it doesn't... come talk to me on sunday and i will show you the difference.
it kinda gets old driving around on the highway with the way my forge flutters but the stocker just couldn't hold nearly as much boost as i am running.
to the op, yeah unfortunately its normal!

What spring do you have in it? If it is the red then yes it is annoying on partial throttle but on the highway it should be fine. I have ran a bunch of the forge units. Never had this problem. I have had that problem on an untuned car when boost is raised but since 4WS tuned your car I doubt that is the problem. Ditch that greddy valve as it is junk. Try to find a IX in your area and try it on your car. If that solves it then it is the valve.
Like Warrtalon said, you just have to drive different.
When you hit any boost, either keep on it, or let off completly.
Anything in between will make the car stutter if you touch boost

Very true!
