which cams?
Damn I don't know what cams to get either? S1 or S2's or HKS 272's or any of the others I just know I don't wanny do valve springs etc. yet, just the cams and want a semi stock idle. Correct me if I am wrong the S1's are 268 correct and the S2's are 272 or 3's I think anyways just gonna keep reading posts and info. till I choose.
The specs on the GSC cams are on their site, but I think you have it about right.
The S2's lift is 11.5mm though.
I will be at a video meet this weekend and I will get a video of them idling at 1k rpm.
Doing the springs and retainers is something I reccomend with any cam install plus the head studs.
I mean you are already in there you might as well upgrade while you are there.

If you are into big torque… I will go whit something exotic like the Piper BP285

I went to the site to get the specs on the GCS S2's

Exhaust 272 Duration 11mm Peak Lift, 113 degree Centerline

Remember you have to have Valvetrain Upgraded with S2's.
If your going to go that route I would def. do the S2's, thats what I have sitting in my room right now to be installed on my new motor.
If your keeping stock valvetrain do S1's.

This is a misconception most people have...You don't need to upgrade your valve train, but it is recommended so you don't go be stupid and blame it on the cams cause you went out and revved to 9k on your stock valve train, that is why most companies who have higher lift/duration cams say to upgrade your valve train. If you have stock valve train on a stock turbo or even an upgraded turbo, but don't plan on revving to the moon, then its up to you to upgrade IMHO, its cheap insurance as most people would say.
We have these in stock ready to ship.
Well, cost of said springs/retainers and then another $200 or so depending on who is installing them and what they charge to install them, cause they take some time.
This is all just mere speculation though...
