which cams?

I was wondering what the most agressive cam you can use with the stock turbo?
I love the sound of the 280's I've seen on Youtube and was wondering can I do this... I want that Brap...Brap...Brap....Brap

u can get that lope with 272's which i have. its just how u tune it. 280's are kinda big for stock turbo imo. the 272's are better all around.

The lope really depends on the actual cams specs. My BC's hardly lope at all but driveability is 100% of what it is stock. If I simply turned the idle down a little I can get them to be super lopey

264's, staggered or 272's. 280's will pull harder up top but you will sacrifice your low end powerband. So daily driving it won't nearly be as fun. There's a dyno graph out there proving this (280 vs. 264/272). It's also recommended to upgrade the springs and retainers for the 280's. Stock turbo looses its efficiency after 7k anyways.

You dont need 280's for stock turbo. Do HKS 272's or GSC S1's/

You CAN run some 280's like HKS's fine without springs and retainers.

What cam would be the most uncomfortable for a stock turbo...JUN 272s. Definitely.

Which would I get? Cosworth 272s.

HKS 272s do sound very "lobey", but you're getting cams for power, not sound.

Why do you think you will give up power with cams?

I am running the GSC S2 cams on a stock turbo and I picked up ~50 whp to redline.

Idling at 1k rpm they are lopy but I have no stall issues.
