Specs for a 2.2ltr question

I know you need a 94mm crank.

I wanted to know what I need as far as specs for the rod lenth and piston wrist pin spec. Can you use the "stroker piston" that weisco makes? If so what lenth rod can you go with while using that weisco piston?

Does anyone have the 2.2ltr? Can you really spin one of those to 9500rpm?

I may have posted too soon.

Rod length for a 2.2 using my current piston (wiesco K596M855) would be 153mm center to center, with a 22mm floating wrist pin. The big end of the rod would be 48.00600mm.

Now this is with the 94mm crank in mind. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

hi buddy this is an awesome spec of 2.2 , u should give it a try

u can get cheap 4g64 blocks in the usa for aboot 400 dollars at slowboy including cradle

fit some manley 156mm turbo tuff i beams
using a custom cp or je 87mm bore or 87.5mm bore piston on a eagle 94mm crank, that is an awesome combo indeed, Norris designs builds those engines for myself

using either a gsc s2 or a gsc s3 hydraulic on a gt4094 twin scroll ams turbo,it will rock and u get nice high revs as well

this is another one im gonna try

an eagle 94mm crank
using custom manley 160mm I beam conrods ryan is making me , i believe the first for an evo
using custom 87mm bore pistons on a 4g64 block, its gonna be phenomenal God willing and using a Ams gt45r twin scroll turbo, woohoo, its gonna rock surely

if you're not stroked already, give Greg a call at GSC. He has the specs on a 2.2 stroker kit (I have one), but it is custom order. A complete, balanced rotating assembly. I have one, it's a very good kit. If you're already stroked, it's probably cheaper to buy the hard parts to match what you've already got that will work with a 94 mm crank.
