I'm installing a HKS DLI II into my EVO 6, and I don't know why It doesn't work .
Installation is really simple, the red led light up, but the car doesn`t start.
Any idea waht could be wrong?
or how can I check if the HKS DLI is actually working?

 

Could be the harness. Usually if the red light is on the DLi2 is wokring.

I had a DLi2 and my coil packs fried. Replaced them and tried the HKS and car wouldn't run, removed DLi2 and car ran fine on the new packs. Old packs were 100% confirmed dead.

I wont run a DLi2 anymore personally, COP all the way, but affordability is what dictates most purchases for people.

 

Update:
Yesterday we tried the DLI on a 7 and it work fine.
The 6 is running with a GEMS ECU...
Does anyone know whats is wrong with it, the HKS DLI should be receive the same signal as the coils..

 

Gems should be similar to AEM
