delco remy bcs

delco remy bcs

does anyone have a delco remy boost control solenoid in their evo? i have one in mine and i didnt know about it when i bought the car. now im having problems and i dont know how to get a replacement.

It's probably a GM 3 port solenoid (made by delco)

The problems you mentioned in the other thread sounds like the boost tables aren't set correctly.

do you know how i can get a replacement? (part numper etc.) the solenoid does have three ports but one is hooked to the bov hose does this make sense?

You probably don't need a replacement, just makes sure it's hooked up correctly and make sure the boost tables are tuned correctly.

If one hose is T'd to the BOV hose, that is one way to hook up the pressure signal, but hooking it up to the compressor housing outlet is better.

i just wanted to look it up and make sure were talking about the same solenoid but an extra wouldnt hurt also it was running fine when i first bought it then later on i had trouble. so the tune could be bad? i would just have it tuned again? also the third port is used for something?
