Besides goin full Buschur exhaust, what all DPs are you guys running? I got the 3065 kit in and just realized that I have a stock style DP. Its an aftermarket piece.. Espiler I believe is what it is.. not exactly sure. It was on the car when I bought it. But it does take the doughnut gasket like the stock DP. I am wondering if this is going to work and if the flange bolts will line up to the buschur piece.... So what all DPs are you guys running on the cast manifold kits? Or what works with it?

So do you know if any other DPs will work with this? I don't feel like throwing another 800$ into an exhaust when I already have a full system on there. Its just the DP flange thats giving me 2nd thoughts... And without having it tore down I'm not real sure what I'm looking at exactly. IF worse comes to worse I would get the flange and weld it on to my existing DP.. But I figured there was other systems or a DP I could buy to make this bolt right up. And until I go to tear it down I wont really know what im looking at....

 

It's meant to mate up with stock style downpipe. . .

AMS exhaust worked just fine for my 3065 kit.

 

I would use the DP from the company that made the turbokit.

I used the ebay downpipe. But the ebay downpipe IS flanged for a donut flange. Basically, it causes some turbulence.

Best way to go is Buschur for the downpipe, which I will probably upgrade too later down the road.

 

Thanks for the info crackerjack. Did you use a gasket on your DP if so what did you use? So how are you liking the 3065 and how did the install go for you? yeah I know 20 questions Just want to be ready for any snags that I might run into come Saturday when I install this.

 

i got the buschur 3" DP for my cast HTA35 kit...let me tell you..its a nice piece!!
