Tax Check... Cams + tune or FMIC + tune

Im coming off a deployment to korea and will have about 10 days back in the states before Warrant Officer Candidate School. Since i have been gone i have purchased BR UICP, AEM WB 02, Greddy EBC, Dejon Tool Intake, 255lph FP, and a AMS mini batt. Im currently awaiting my tax return of around $800. What do you guys think i should get? my thoughts are either a BR deluxe FMIC w/ LICP or should i get GSC S2s and springs/retainers? FYI im planning on running a GT35 later on this year, hence the S2's.

Def. the Cams + Tune.

You wont see a big gain with IC on stock turbo.

Just some gee whiz info, the BR Deluxe intercooler comes with a LICP. I can't tell from your post if you knew that or if you were going to buy one seperate.

Cams and Tune would definitely give you the largest hp gain.

cams + tune, but with your 03 evo, i would rather go with HKS or JUN or BR

for the 6 weeks of wocs i will only be able to start up my car on sundays for 15 minutes and the rough idle of a cammed evo would probably make my week.

I've herd the BR's are knockoff juns. Which are some bad units.

The gsc's are nice also. I pesonally run GSC

i dont think u would really need the springs and retainers as a supporting mod with the GSC 2's + the installation is pretty high and time consuming if ur gonna do the springs and retainers might as well do the head studs to u know. But yeah i would save the money and get GSC s2's and FMIC + tune.....would be good. But thats just mu opinion.

GOOD LUCK.

GSC says that upgraded springs are required for their S2 cams. I'll take their word for it and while the cams are out, might as well replace them.
