are we stuck?
are we stuck?
Are cali people stuck? Since we run 91, can we not safely run 20 PSI to redline without knock?
I have an AFC so if I had the fuel leaned out a bit, should I add fuel and increase boost? Or am I just a dumbass. Please elaborate

If all you got is 91 octane you shouldn't be messing with boost. I've heard of ppl mixing there own 93/94 octane gas and then you could start boosting it up. maybe you should talk to David at Works or Shiv at vishnu about this, they can fix up your ECU and you don't even need to boost it up.

Toulene is extremely nasty stuff. It's proven to cause cancer. A respirator is needed to use it.
I'm also in CA (San Diego), a properly tuned (we might have to spend more for a bigger turbo for less heat), well cooled (we need to cool more than others IMO) car shouldn't have much problem getting past 300whp. The best gas here in SD is 76, with probably Shell after that. Stay FAR away from Arco (for a turbo car).
Just suck it up and buy real racing gas (go in with buddies on a 50 gal) if you really want to have a separate tune. Messing with mixing this and that (and carrying the stuff around in your trunk, hope it doesnt get too hot and it out-gasses into your interior, or it gets spilled) is PITA after while.
I've never used it but the guys on NASIOC dig this stuff, it should make our gas a little more "consistant".

I was going to give it a try after finding out more about it. And making sure it won't deposit any crap on my plugs or valves like the cheap Octane Boosters will. (Owners Man specifically stays to avoid stuff like OBs, you'll get poo-poo'd at the dealer because they'll see the deposits)
