If your on stock head your better suited with the s1 however if your on a bigger port go with the s2.

The cams would be more head related than turbo size.

My cams are in now actually, but are currently untuned (doing other things as well so the car is not on the road).

This is what I have seen with S2's in stock or stock appearing turbo cars so far.

There have been no power losses because the head is suddenly overcammed. Since it flows well out of the box (compare it to a domestic V8 sometime), the RS ratio is good, it seems a little difficult to overcam it as long as you use some common sense.

Normally a stock turbo car on stock cams (using a IX for reference) will hold somewhere between 205-215% load to redline. With S1's this seems to be in the 225-230 range in the cars I have tuned personally. I have seen logs from others that support this as well. A recent test of S2's in two stock turbo cars in the NW, showed the load staying well in to the 240's until fairly high in the rev range.

For reference my Green with S1's does that now at 22psi, and at 23 or so by redline is normally middle 240's, increases in relation to the boost of course.

Lucas is running these in his car right now. They are not violent at idle, they do not cause a loss of low end spool, nor are they "too large" for the stock turbo. I have ridden in his car, logged the car for S&G's, and seen the results of the S2s at the track. They havent hurt him in anyway.

Brad@MellonTuning is running the S2's on his stock turbo and had very nice gains. He's going to a HTA 35R but wanted to go ahead and put them in now. He has a review thread up.

^^^^Agreed, for any real doubt look at what they do on a stock turbo like on Brads car and then figure in the "Green" factor. I doubt anyone is going to be disappointed.
