Now that you brought that product up it reminded me of another question. Does anyone have any personal experience using a breather filter with their evo? I am wondering how much of an oily mess it will make of my engine bay?

I run a cheap autozone breather filter, have for a couple of years... I have no oily mess in my engine bay at all. All you have to do is swap em out about every other month when they start to look really oily , cost a couple of bucks.

I run this one and I like it a lot. Really nice to look at in the engine bay and def functional. If you want some flair, it's a pretty nice touch.

so with the breather are you supposed to keep the rear pcv valve plumbed to the intake manifold? or put another breather on the end of that?

I think you can leave it alone or even better, run an oil catch can.
