Innovative LC-1 WB troubles.
I installed the Innovative LC-1 WB with no problems about 2 months ago. I ran the led and all that to make sure it was always working. Also i didnt get a gauge with it so i am using a autometer one for now.and its wired directly to the analog not the car.
For some reason the led that shows that the censor is heating isnt blinking to show me that anymore. Im not sure if i ruined it seeing that my car has been running really rich and also made me foul out 3 sets of plugs so far tuning it. i did the mods way before i had the wide band. I bought the wide band after to help in the tuning process.
Anone have any ideas. I thought if too much gas hits a censor it ruins them ? But i thought thats why the censor heats up unless mine didnt for some reason but why all of a sudden?

I rechecked all my wiring. Made sure my grounds were good and there fine. Checked my power and i have power. All my connections are soldiered so there should be no problems there.
If i sensor goes bad will it just not heat up anymore or what ? Anyone have any idea ?

I will be buying this same wideband in the very near future and hope I don't have any problems with it. I was thinking about installing it myself but there is a shop here in Atlanta that will install it for $200. I hope you figure out what is wrong Evo8Emperor.
plug in your laptop and see in logworks gives you any errors then you'l know. could just need a recalibration. Also where on your exhaust is the sensor mounted?? It would be good to have an innovate gauge also but what is your gauge reading?

I have the sensor located right underneath the intake mani before the car in a 2 o'clock position.
Im not getting any power to it i figured out. I cant seem to find the fuse that is blown that correlates to my power source.

Thanks guys. Like i said it was a power source problem. But its weird. Where i had it soldiered in theres power but on the other end where its soldiered to the lc-1 power theres no power. I dont know why so i am just running a new power wire from a different source.
I think im going to do like w- evo8 said and tie in right at the fuse box in the power.
But thanks guys for the info.

If your LC-1 will still log with a laptop and logworks, your LC-1 is fine, and mabye your LED is messed up. I honestly didnt read through the whole thread, in a hurry right now, but if the heater isnt heating up or the sensor is open or a serial cable is off/loose or the ground is bad, or a billion other things. The LC-1 will throw an error and you will not get a reading.
I have an LC1 and an LM1. I started having problems with the LC1 almost immediately. Swapped back to the LM1, no problems. I just removed the LC1 and gauges from the car and will be sticking to the LM1.
I had a LC1 in my car for 3 days, roughly 100 miles, the gauge blinks off and on and the LED no longer comes on. Rechecked wiring, all well. After 10min on the phone with their tech dept I was told to send it back. Cool of them to take it back for repair but I am seeing a LOT of others having similar issues with the LC1. Ive been using and selling the PLX systems for years and years without issue.
