BR3065 Dyno #s, photos, videos...
To put it this way,...I had my car dynoed on that and it did 526..I then wen to a dynojet and it was slightly warmer out and I did 487. I dont care what any of you say. Jimmy's dyno reads more like a dynojet unless it was re-calibrated. Not a bash attempt at Jimmy as he's good people but from looking at teh numbers it looks like the dyno is reading low again.
Eitherway, car looks and sounds nice.

I dont care for numbers... I think the HP vs MPH I posted will back up the dyno numbers.. I have seen some cars make 560whp on a DJ and only trap 127mph... Mean while I make just under 500 and trap 132
Unfortunately I have heard the same thing from other people.. The problem was the use of "shoot out" mode and or huge inflated correction factors to pump up numbers...

There was a test here in SoCal to prove the readings differences between a Dyno Dynamics and a Dyno Jet. Same car within a three week span. DJ numbers 406whp and 365 tq. DD numbers 353whp and 347 tq. So the difference is about 13% -14%.
That is some wierd ****. First The Shop sets up their DD to read like a DynoJet... when they should have set it up to read like a friggen DD which everyone knows read WAY LOWER than both Mustang and Dynojet. Now it reads way lower than a normal DD. Jeez you buy a 100k piece of equipment why don't you read the instructions.
ok let me understand....
You want to gain more power up top on the stock block and you dont want lag or any losses on the low end.... Give us your idea on gaining power...
And don tell me green because at the same boost pressure on my mod list the green usually does around 325whp and after 7000 it tapers like ****...
As far as the #s now..... It is my peronal preference to run the dyno uncorrected.... Period.... I dont wantto see dynojet #s or whatever.... The dyno is a tool and should be used like that. At the end of the day the track #s count and nothing else....
As far as testing differences.... When I first modded
my car I used a dynojet at a shop in new York... Made 327 (intake, tbe w/ cat, eflash) after 5 days went to the dyno dynamics and did 272whp... Do the math...
Lag is indeed overated and an excuse for people do dont know what downshifting means... Dont want to sound mean but if you dont want lag and big power buy a bigblock.....

If you were at 305hp/325tq with stock turbo on pump gas, then it reads more like a Mustang dyno. 350hp sounds a bit too conservative but hey, let the trap speed speak for the number.

Wow sounds like a bunch of hate on this thread but like JR. said dyno means nothing cause all #'s are going to be different trap speeds speaks loud and clear. I have faith in the Shop and JR's tuning Kouzman it would help everyone understand your#'s if you posted a mod list. I'm going to assume (nobody call me an ***) you have stock cams and injectors? If that is the case then if you had GSC s1's and 720cc injectors with meth your #'s would bring you to the limit of the stock motor. **** is I wasn't getting married next year I would be at the shop right now having them tun my 3065
So please mods list
So please mods list
mods list:
Br 3065 tubular manifold
br downpipe
pte 780cc injectors
head studs
cossie cams m2
fuel pump
apexi intake
Dejon intake pipe
hallman mbc
turbo xs fmic
nisei fmic piping kit
mr testpipe
invidia g200 catback
sun hyper ignition
ngk 1 step colder sparkpkugs
On the stock turbo, injectors, clutch and with a high flow cat the car did 12.1@114.2 on pump weighting exactly 3508 with me... On the dyno that was 300whp.... Now I have at least 50whp more up top for the track... We will see results in a couple of weeks...

Thank you for the post sir and you're very welcome! Thats what im here for.
Glad you're happy with the product and more importantly the outcome. When you're ready for some fun.... the 3065 REALLY likes race gas and 29lbs.
Let me know if you need anything or if there is anything else I can help with. Take care!

What are other supporting mods? Are you using a cat? I understand your tune is safe and all...but I thought that setup should net at least closer to 400whp on pump gas
Is that dyno on par with a dynojet or a mustang?....no bashing of your setup at all though, it does look really great

very nice setup indeed, im ordering mine soon too. #'s do seem a lil ow b/c on the same exact dyno at the shop with a dynoflash tune i made 317 with a turboback, f/p, mbc, intake. but hey, numbers are just numbers. enjoy it
What dyno gives 180 whp for an EVO?

Under no circumstances I am trying to imply something. Al is a great tuner and he the one who tuned the car before with excellent results as I mentioned before. However since he left the shop there was nothing I could do...
Jarrod you will definitely hear from me again as I will eventually build the sucker! Plus many of my Greek friends started to ask about the kit...!

.... then out the door.
