Front wheel hops when going into first gear?

I recently installed a exedy twin hd with a shep tranny + front diff (quaife). From a stop going into first gear the front wheels like to hop a little. I don't know if it's normal for this to happen, any ideas?

I thought the quaife front diff helped stop wheel hop?

you mean it shutters? kinda a rough shaking feeling? that is normal on a new clutch, mine still does it after 3000 miles. it will start to stop after the clutch wears in

Practice letting the clutch out smoothly. The shudder will go away. Go to an empty parking lot. Start by giving a little gas 2000 rpm or so and let the clutch out slowly to get a feel of the engagement point. With practice you should be able to do it off of idle. I have the same clutch most people who drive my car cannot believe I have a twin. The pedal is soft and practice is all it takes to get it to drive like stock.

Poly motor mounts will stiffen up any engine movement
