Exhausts: Titianium vs Stainless
Exhausts: Titianium vs Stainless
Ok, so titanium exhausts are lighter, stainless is inexpensive.
For those who have purchased this type of exhaust or considering it, does it really make that much difference or is it just bling?
List pros and cons.

Good quote. Titanium is badass, lightweight and (in the Greddy full race Ti catback) louder than the stainless counterpart. Pro: Looks badass and sounds mean as hell. Con: Almost expensive as one of Eliot Spitzer's hookers.
Stainless is durable and just as free flowing (er, if you get one with minimal bends) but obviosly cheaper than Ti. Pro: Relatively inexpensive and durable with good flow and decent gains - nice sound. Con: Not as blingy as golden di#k Ti cbe, lol.

but on a serious note, your analogy could be saying a number of things, ie that stainless is good enough for its function, or that titanium is better because, i mean, who doesnt want some love?!
Titanium is not worth it for a typical street car IMO. The weight savings are not significant enough to change my mind. Most people think titanum looks better, so if you think the looks are worth the price then I suppose it could be worth it.
