Head skin is it ok?

After I experienced coolant waste from a bad head gasket, i did:
Changed the head gasket ( cometic), and Head studd ARP...
But the shop that this this work also got the HEAD SKINED to be sure its ok...

question: Will this cause significant compression rate increase ?
Will this be a problem? What is the solution?

Thanks a lot for all the inputs...

PS. I do run FP green and 272 cams...

No it will not change your compression. Typically they only deck the head a few thousands of an inch. This is very minor and you will not see any significant change in compression.

P.S. if you ever blow another head gasket I would recommend just replacing it with another OEM unit. Typically, they seem to work best.

If you are using a cometic, be prepared to do this job all over again.

COMETIC is garbage.

i am using the HKS head gasket. when we were building the engine, we first got a cometic, had used them before on hondas with good results. when the cometic showed up we were pretty disappointed so i shelled out the extra for the hks
