tps code...car dies when letting off throttle

tps code...car dies when letting off throttle

had the motor out of the car..put it back together..the car dies once warmed up when taken out of gear....it will stay alive if i pump the gas.....it threw a code for low circiut for tps...could the sensor be shot?...anyone run into this problem???

you just need to readjust the tps sensor, it has to be between a certian voltage

I dont think a AEM is needed. Just curious as to why you would say that? 1st try replacing the TPS, but if the car is dying then the TPS shouldn't be the cause of it.

yea possibly a shot sensor or broken circuit signal wire to the ecu..time to use that diagnostic thinking lol...since you jus had the motor out id check for a broken circuit signal wire, if that checks out get that fluke meter out and start checking for voltage and ground to the sensor..then check for continuity in the signal circuit..if that all checks out good then shot sensor
