Does anyone have pictures of the stock exhaust system? I want to know how close it gets to the transfer case. I was told by MMC that my HKS is close to the TC which is causing TC to get to hot, resulting in failure..... Any answers to this madness....?

 

Absolute rubbish. Just trying to get out of warranty repair. Good luck.

 

It runs along side the T Case, but failure due to heat from the actual pipe??

I will give you an update tomorrow they are tearing into it.

 

They are full of it, never heard of that one before.

They all sit close to the Tcases esp on 05+, nothing you can do about it.

Sounds like it is time to pack it up and bring to a shop that knows what they're talking about. I don't like working with people who are dishonest and/or don't know what they're doing.

 

MMC will not hesitate to blame anything on a mod.

 

I will never buy another mitsubishi as long as we have the same service manager here.
