Post 'em if you got 'em. I'd love to see what Perrin's stealth intercooler looks like on an Evo...

What's so special about this? Can't you just get any intercooler anodized black?

Sorry I couldn't find any pics either. Search google in your area for "metal finishing"

Call around till you find someone that can anodize your current FM. It should cost anywhere from 125-200 bucks.

It's not the looks alone that are driving my purchase. I've already settled on the Perrin but my tuner has one stealth model and one normal model on the shelf. Just curious to see if anybody else is running one yet.

Its called a flat black can of spraypaint. I don't know why you would pay more for it to be anodized black. I spraypainted my greddy, and have seen numerous Buschur and AMS's painted.

So you're saying that you insulated your front mount with a nice coat of paint? While I don't know the specifics (difference in temps, etc), it's seems like you're working against the efficiency, and entire theory behind a front mount.

Air directly on the metal is going to be more efficient at cooling than air on metal with layers of paint on it. On a turbo car, I want the coldest air possible to get into the motor.

Aside from that, the Perrin Stealth looks great, I plan on getting one; I think it will look great on an Electric Blue VIII w /Gunmetal wheels.

Thanks Tom! Yeah to whoever equates a black anodized intercooler to rattling an IC black in your garage. No comparison. Please tell me you didn't do that.
