Nice looking piece Dave. If I wasn't trying to sell my car this would be added to the list of parts

Being poor is so over-rated...

Awesome, someone finally made these. I knew the stock ones were heavy just looking at them that last time i was under the car. I need a second job for my weight reduction budget!

The stock part uses the I-beam shape for a reason: the part sees a considerable bending load. That's why the cast part is hollowed out in the middle to form at 'I' section.

The machined Al part could be designed the same way for even more weight reduction.
I've been waiting for our 3D scanner to show up at work to scan in the factory part to work as a baseline to start from.

It could also be lighter by designing it to use a shorter bolt that mounts onto the car.

David, when are we going to see a billet aluminum (or cast if you have a good foundry setup) rear diff pumpkin???

Yes, this part can be used with the stock mustache bar or our mustache bar.

Never going to see a rear differential made of aluminum from us.

Yes, the part could be lighter, it is less than 1/2 the weight of the stock part. I want the parts we make to be light but I also want to make sure they don't fail or are weaker than the stock parts they are replacing.

Excuse me for being noob...but isn't it will add stress to the drivetrain without those rubber bushings???
I'd like to have this and the mustache bar. Will it cure the clunk noise on my diff?(everytime I put load on it)

This isn't going to cure any noises, if you noises coming from the drivetrain more than likely it is from a worn gear set, somewhere.
