Need an opinion

Just wondering what would be the next step for upping the power of my car.........so far helix dp, test pipe, HKS catback, airfilter. I would really like to max out the stock turbo to see what it can do but i'm still learing my car after a year of owning it. I've been told by my tuner to just go with a 30/65 from bushar, but i dont have that kind of money just yet. Just wanting to see what everyone would do in this case....Any help would be appreciated.......

you are still far away from Maxing out the stock turbo. what kind of tuner you have? you have just basic bolt ons, didn't he tell you to get cams, fuel pump?

He's a pretty good tuner....i have a friend with an evo that he tuned.....but he's just telling me to go all big.......only if i had the money to do that. We had a talk about what i wanted to do but he just kept sayin "30/65, dual fuel pumps, bigger injectors and a stroker kit" I priced everything out......too much for my budget. I know i wanna get the cams, fuel pump, and injectors. As far as the ignition control...i'm lost..

Just ignore the "tooner's" suggestions...

1) Get a fuel pump... ASAP... order it today
2) Get a wideband
3) Get a boost controller. I prefer using the stock solenoid & a custom pill, but if you aren't comfortable with modifying your own ECU ROM, then just get a MBC
4) Get some new spark plugs and T-bolt clamps for IC piping
5) Tune

That should be your first order of business. You probably have a good 40whp to gain over just a "best guess" tune with no wideband and stock boost.

Once you're all set with that, consider doing cams, headstuds, and a head gasket. That will keep you busy for a while and should keep you happy.
