I have been having this problem lately with my car since i upgraded the intercooler & ic piping with the ETS kit, since then i got tuned and brought my boost lower to 22psi and had no problem. But now @ 23/24/25 i keep having this stuttering/farting when my car is first pushed on WOT in 3rd gear.

I have a HKS EVC 5 and its having isseus i have my GAINS SET @ 86 and offset @ 80.

When i tuned i almost had to turn the gain up full blast, it was @ 98 gain and 85 offset. Was boosting 24.5 during the tune but then after the tune when i went home i tryed to pass a mercedes to get off the highway and the car peak boosted 30.9 psi and it gave a hard fart/stutter and i left off from scaryness.

Are both these problems connected or what are your guys input on this?

 

It could be boost/fuel cut or simply a boost leak.

Have you tested for a leak? That would be the first thing to check especially since you were tampering with couplers and pipes.

 

check what he said ^ first. If that is not the case, how old are your spark plugs? You could possibly be blowing spark.
