Just installed Vishnu Stage I
Tuner, you said you have the Signature series DP. Is that the one the replaces the Oxygen sensor housing at the base of the turbo or the one that leaves it in place.
Thanks

I hope I am explaining this correctly:
The Signature down pipe utilizes the stock Oxy senser housing at the base of the turbo. If you use the other (cheaper) Vishnu down pipe you must remove the turbo (which involves removing the radiator, etc.) and then get the stock Oxy senser housing off the turbo while risking breaking the attachment studs. Then, with that gone, the new down pipe just bolts directly to the turbo. This is supposed to have the advantage of separating the wastgate gases from the turbo exhaust to cut down on turbulance and increase output.
Thus it is sometimes stated that the economy down pipe makes more power than the Signature down pipe.
I believe Vishnu will be marketing a new part to replace the stock Oxy senser that bolts to the turbo and connects to the Signature down pipe. This would eliminate or partly eliminate the turbulance issue that may occur now when using the Signature down pipe.
In reality, I'm not so sure replacing the stock Oxy senser housing will make much difference (at least not at Vishnu's Stage I power level) because right now Shivs red Evo has the economy exhaust on it and the other mods on his are the same as mine, yet mine makes more power in back to back runs on his dyno. This is with mine at totally stock boost and his with boost control. Of course his has over 3000 dyno pulls on it so that may have a negative effect! I'll be anxious to see what mine does shortly with boost control.

The Signature down pipe does require spacers. The ones that come with the pipe are machined from wide aluminum blocks yielding a large contact area. I believe Vishnu could be marketing a beautiful tubular front lower suspension brace in the future. At least I saw one prototype that looked fantastic. This would be a neat alternative for those who don't want spacers. I don't think an efficient 3" down pipe can be fit on the Evo without some kind of spacers.
Hope that helps a little!

Hey Shiv, Will the Vishnu staged upgrades be conducive to my JIC 3" Catback and Perrin Cat-Delete pipe?? I'd like to go the Vishnu route but I already installed the exhaust and my Perrin pipe will be here Monday. Also, will your Downpipe mate up to my Perrin?
What's planned for Stage 2?
