Biggest Turbo Kit that has no lag, stock spool ?

Is it true that I could get the 30R HTA and it would spool as fast as a 20G ?

I have only rode in my buddies 50 Trim car (besides my EVO 8 /16G) and it has huge lag compared to my 16G stocker.

I personally am a very picky person. I wanted a perfect street turbo.

But I had to face it, there is no aftermarket turbo in the 'GT' series that is going to be worth your time, without a little lag. You have to give a little, to receive a little. Thats just how it is.

I personally chose the Buschur 3065 turbo. It fully spools by around 4000rpm, and im making over 420whp on 93oct.

Forced Performance is also releasing a HTA 3065 turbo, but in my honest opinion, is several hundred dollars more, is it worth it to you for maybe a couple hundred rpm sooner spool? I think not, infact, I know not.

Just sticky this quote on the top of the "Engine, Turbo, Drivetrain" page

Questions pertaining to "zero lag, but more top end" are getting so common.

you want stock spool stay with a stock turbo.. if you consider a 50trim car as having huge lag stick to the fpgreen as best case scenario..

My 57 trim from ETS spools around 3900rpm or so. It hits boost hard and i made 403whp on 92 octane with a VERY conservative tune.

If you are worried about lag, get a supercharger.

To answer your question yes they do make one. It is going to cost a lot of money. A twin-scroll 30r will spool the same as a stock IX turbo. A lot of companies are making twin-scroll kits now. I myself will be ordering my twin-scroll HTA3076 soon. On EvoDan's car he spooled up around 3800. Add the HTA to that and you should be around 3600. That is pretty impressive and will be the only way I upgrade my turbo. You are looking at 4-5k to get this done.

Its not a matter or differing opinion. Its the truth. People need to stop asking for stock spool with a 35r too end.

Fair enough. Im not sold on the Twin Scroll...Its all about the setup, joe blows car could hit full boost (i hate saying spool up cause thats not the truth) at 4k rpms with a turbo and Joe blows wife's car could hit full boost at 4300 rpms b/c she has a couple things different on her car.

On my 2.3 i hit 23 psi by 3900 rpms with 3065, which is the largest 30r available.

A 2.0 with twin-scroll would have similar spool characteristics as a single scrolled 2.3. On my friends 2.0 he spooled around 4300 on a 3065.

That also depends on so many things. Certain cams give more exhaust excavation than others. Log manifolds are generally quieter and offer better spool with less topend. The setup is a pretty big factor.

I would never own a whiney supercharger, they drive me crazy.

Do some of you have nothing better to do that troll these threads and give your opinion on whether the topic has been discussed too often???

Thanks for the honest advice from others,

I don't care if I hit full boost until 4K RPM I am just trying to avoid being the guy at the auto-cross event that I talked to last year with a 35R that never got over 5 psi the entire course.

The question that I dont see (or part of the question I guess) is "Biggest Turbo Kit that has no lag, stock spool and makes xxx amount of whp"

The biggest turbo kit that has no/little lag and stock spool is the stock one...as long as you dont mind being limited in whp at some point.
