wot issue

so tonight i was just messing around and doing some pulls..when i would go wot the car would "hicup", pause, then take off

thats the best way i can describe it really...the exaust emits one "pop" as it takes off...its not loud as in a backfire though

im wondering if im running rich? the car did sit for 3 months over the winter, i just started driving it mid march. it recently had a new battery, 4 new tires, an oil change, alignment, and lowering springs installed. ive been getting about 280 miles on a full tank with just highway driving at 70 mph, the most recent tank was mostly city driving and ive only gotten about 170 miles with a little over 1/4 of a tank left

any suggestions?

If you're hearing a pop, then its most likely running rich. As long as its an exhaust pop and not an engine pop.

no check engine light, yes pop is coming from exhaust...also noticed an extra amount of soot on the back bumper

You're running rich. Nothing to worry about, its better than running lean. Contact TTP and ask they can lean it up a bit for you. If you have a way of getting data logs and sending them to TTP it would help the tuner alot.

A boost leak would cause the system to run rich and lose fuel efficiency. With all the work you have been doing to the car lately, you might want to have the system checked for leaks.

well this problem has gotten worse. it now misfires as soon as i give it any gas more than about 50-60% i would say.

i changed the spark plugs with some that the guy at autozone gave me (theyre bosch, i know...but thats what the computer came up with when the guy put my info in his computer at autozone), but the problem is still occuring

i have some bpr7es on the way...should that solve my problem or am i looking at something worse?

take those damn Bosch plugs out! There sh*t! I used to work at AZ and I never like them. Put the NGK plugs in it make sure they're gapped and torqued right and do a boost leak check. My 2 cents
