Wiseco-Eagle build...Pics inside!

So I finally got my engine back from the shop last Friday. I've put everything back together already (for the engine) and now I just need to bolt on the tranny and it goes in the car! I am excited! Well, I'd just like to share my experience. I will be updating with new pics soon.

Here's the car...and my Monster

My cylinder head...sand blasted, machined, decked Ferrea Competition 1mm oversize valves, ARP headstuds, GSC S2 Cams, Buschur dual valvespring set.

The block...it was cleaned but I didn't paint it. Cleaned, machined, decked, honed, bored, .020 over pistons. Wiseco pistons, Eagle crank and rods. ARP mainstuds, ARP rod bolts. Crank was balanced and so was rods and pistons with the flywheel and pressure plate.

My parts... all over the garage.
New parts include Buschur UICP, LICP, Buschur cat-back with Megan Racing downpipe, AEM wideband, Autometer oil pressure and many more I can't remember...LOL

and it sits as is...the clutch is the ACT 6 puck spring with Gruppe-S flywheel.

Sorry, I didn't take any pics of my measurements and crap...haha, didn't have a camera handy and was too dirty.

Curious; are you re-using the stock crank?

I've heard the OEM one is pretty durable.

Quite the DIY project .

At least you have a refrigerator with cold beverages handy .

Nope, I am using an Eagle Forged crank. I sold the OEM one already.

Haha, I wish I could have a good thing to say about that. I will be running my 20g-green until I have more funds. Unfortunately, this took up all my funds (which were from tax returns LOL). I know I will need a bigger turbo to get enough air into the engine with those cams and valves...but until then, max out green!

Engine looks great, are you sure all those parts on the floor are from just one Evo?

Holy parts nightmare batman, why such a slew of parts? Suspension, exhaust, driveshaft out, etc, why bother with all of that? Why not just keep it simple, engine, clutch etc. Do all that other stuff later, get rid of the clutter! Just asking for trouble imho.

Build looks good though. Who did your machine work and assembly?

Think you'll have it done for our dyno day in a few weeks?
