ok so i was running a MBC with a TBE, intake and fuel pump. when i got my intercooler and cams i knew i need to get a tune and wanted to go back to the stock BCS so i could get the jestr m1 tune and run a consistant 1.5 bar. i orderd a new stock boost hose to make sure everything would be correct for the tune, but even from the first ROM image ive been boosting way past 1.5 bar. i have now reinstalled the restrictor pill i was told to remove for the flash and reloaded my stock ROM to see if it was the tune that was causing the over boost. sadly it did not. even with the complete stock boost setup im still spiking at atleast 1.6 bar. i have made sure the hoses are hooked up properly adn have no idea what to do to fix this problem. any suggestions or ideas would b greatly appreacted. thanks

 

You say your spiking if it's spiking 24psi with no knock wouldn't worry about it to much. If it's rising on it's way to redline it's boost creep fix it right away. There are a few ways to deal with boost creep. If you have the Jester tune those guys will help you get rid of any trouble your having. Some gauges are off do you have a way to log by a MAP sensor? MAP will tell you what amount of pressure is in the intake manifold better.

 

ok so i have my car with the tune back loaded and the pill out and im only spking to 1.6 bar and settling at 1.5 then tapering towards redline (obviously)... i kno this is no big deal if i have little to no knock but i would still like to find out y i am overboosting when the tune should be sitting at 1.5 with no spike. any ideas would be much apprecated. thank you
