Bill Lowe from Showdown Motorsports used one with stock 1g DSM coils in his Talon when his MSD took a crap. He went 8.80's at 160-163 mph that day. The main thing is to mount it where it dosn't see direct raidaint heat, get's some air, but can't get soaking wet.

The DLi is perhaps the best thing for evo ignition right now. The other stuff seems unreliable and we get alot of cars coming through here.
Dli and a good set of stock coils we make 940 wheel on our evo, if you need more than that.................

Half of all the people that have had them have had issues with them. I am very worried about reliability.

If you feel that way then don't get it. I've had zero problems with mine.

No problems here. HKS DLI, BPR8ES, stock coils and wires. No mis-fires, ZERO knock counts on latest tune
