My mods right now are Catless Turbobcack, 255 lp, bc , sheherd tc, clutch,bov,and bc cams 272 with valvesprings. Next week i will be installing a Turbotrix 50 Trim with 750 cc injectors. I can either buy Meth injection or an aftermarket intercooler to go along because i am heading out to college this summer. Which would you recomend? Will the stock IC hold that much power? I have searched and i can not decide!

 

well you might be doing 380whp with all the mods and a good tune...........but get the intercooler will help you a lot...good luck bro.

I would go with both but the intercooler is needed first.

 

If you are going to be in a hot area for school you will benefit from the upgraded IC that you don't have to worry about whether or not you have a full bottle or if a noozle is clogged.

I agree go with the intercooler first...it will always be there and won't run out like the meth. Plus with lower IAT'S it will make more power off the meth....and on the meth

 

I would definitely do the intercooler first. Especially since you will be at school, methanol is moderately expensive and not always the easiest thing to find.

 

You can get Meth shipped to your door by several sources (Jackson Auto machine to name one) - Meth will not only make your motor run cooler, but it'll give you a lot more power! For anything under 400whp, stick with the stock intercooler as it's more than capable.

A 54 gallon drum only cost $287.00 that's over a years supply under normal usage - Go with the METH!

The stock intercooler will flow enough air for that power level but unfortunately isn't very efficient and heatsoaks quickly especially when pushed that hard. You'll have a far more consistently fast EVO with an efficient intercooler installed and will find more boost and timing available before reaching the knock threshold.
