Where to place meth/water nozzle

Is it ok to inject water/meth before the turbo? Will it hurt the turbo? (I know water can hurt hitting your hand at highway speeds) Will this "sandblast" the turbo? Will it hurt the intercooler?

We recommend putting it about two inches away from the throttle body. You're right in thinking it would be like sandblasting your turbine fins.

Put it close to the trottle body and you'll be good to go.

Any proof that it would hurt the turbine fins?

Pre-compressor injection has been discussed in great detail over at the Aquamist forums: http://www.aquamist.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=267. It's alot to read but you'll learn quite a bit.

Place nozzle where the spray is subjected to as little surface area as possible. Right in front of TB.

i asked Richard L about this few weeks back.. he said on the UICP.. at 8 o'clock and/or 4 o'clock (if you are putting 2 nozzles)... he does not recommend right at the bottom, to avoid contamination...

Well after a bunch of reading and thinking about things, I am going to put the nozzle before the turbo. "Sandblasting" the turbo..... What was I thinking. Planes fly through rain. The compressor blades of a turbine engine are much larger then ours. (the larger the wheel the faster the tips will spin) Also, people have done this with no issues.

Interfooler FTW. lol. As long as the stock intercooler or my ebay ic doesn't turn into a interheater it will stay on. I cant really see meth keeping the temps lower than the ambient air though.
