Thats the same **** thats happening to me!!!! I cant figure it out either. Im trying a new boost controller to see if thats it.

 

I'm having almost the same issue. If I build boost slowly and gradually it will hold to 22psi (what its set at) and not leak at all. But If i pull the rpms up fast and hard, it will drop to 10psi and leak like crazy. I boost leak tested the car to 30psi, sprayed soapy water on every single connection and no leaks, no hissing, nothing. This is driving me crazy. I have the stock ix bov.

 

IT IS THE STOCK INTAKE SNORKEL. THE PINS THAT HOLD IT DOWN TO THE CHASSIS MUST HAVE GONE SOMEWHERE....WHEN YOU ARE BOOSTING THE SNORKEL IS GETTING SUCKED UP TO THE BONNET..GOODLUCK..OH AND YOU CAN THANK ME LATER :P

 

This is why I asked about the snorkel a few posts ago but no one answered lol.

 

hahaha...just got a PM from the op saying this was the problem..the only reason i know is because it happened to me when i first got my car..
