Bad boost creep

Ok so i bought an 05 evo with a lot of mods to it. HKS intake, Bochure Turbo back, megan exhaust manifold, megan o2 housing (way ported), hks hard intercooler piping, greddy EBC, turbo timer, apexi SABCII (getting disco'd) ok so i had creep issues real bad with the megan not ported, so i took it out and ported it a lot. the boost creep with my EBC off after porting would hold at 15psi till around 6200 then start creeping up to close to 20psi. i have tried hooking the vacuum line straight from the compressor to the WGA and still the same thing. i increased the size of the vacuum lines and still the same thing. now i installed the stock o2 housing again and now it seems like the boost creep is worse than the ported megan 02 housing. with the stock o2 housing it is boost creeping almost as bad as the pre ported megan. please help me this is getting out of control i need to get this thing tuned but they wont do it with the boost creep. also i have a new WGA stock. its not the turbine housing aka hotside because i just put a new one of those in also.

hahaha! I hope this is your problem. Evos run 21 psi no problem. Boost creep is considered when your boost crawls up from 20 to 25+ psi.

he said it was after 6200 thats not normal, it should spike at 19psi and and taper.

boost creep is when boost can not be controlled. It almost sounds like there is a problem with your wastegate? But i have tested my Megan 02 with my EBC off before and after my 02 housing install. Before, it would get to about 11.1 psi and stay there. now, right when i get on it, it gets to about 12.5psi, then slowly creeps as the rpms rise, it gets to about 15psi. Thats not bad boost creep, but it still is boost creep nonetheless. when i turn my boost up to peak at 23psi, i see no boost creep, my boost will peak around 23psi, then at about 5500rpms drop to about 21 then further to 20-19psi. You seem to have a more serious case of boost creep?

ya its pretty bad let me give a timeline.

Purchased car with HKS intake, bochure turbo back exhaust, tubular exhaust manifold, hks hard intercooler piping, hks sqv bov, greddy EBC and turbo timer, megan 02 housing.

all of this with the boost controller turned off to run off from just wastegate pressure

boost was creeping all the way to shutoff over 25psi at 5500 rpms WOT 4th gear.

ported o2 housing due to information i read on evom.net would hold 15 psi at 5500 rpm but as i progressed the boost would also increase never over 20psi though.

bypassed the boost solenoid but connecting my vacuum line from the WGA to the compressor and still the same symptoms.

Installed new stock wastegate and stock o2 housing and boost creep was almost as bad as with the non ported megan o2 housing.

as i said before the WGA is new and was kinda a pain to put in there i am gonna try to adjust the arm to ensure its rigged right.

It's not my fault you failed to mention that your car was boosting over 20 psi. It's also not my fault that you took my laughter as me calling you an " idiot for no apparent reason" As you might have known already, forums are full of people you don't know. So to start eliminating the possibilities, we have to first make sure that you did not mistaken the amount of boost the Evo runs. No harm intended. Instead of laughing I should have said welcome and good luck.

Why did you purchase a new turbine housing, anyway? Why do you assume that the problem is not in the turbine housing?

That is also my bad for not being completely specific that is why i came back to give the timeline. my bad for getting irritated but this problem which i think i may have fixed has gone outa control and i have been working it for the past 3 weeks. so i apologize for not being clear. anyways i am now holding 19 psi instead of continuing over 25 so i think i have fixed the problem.
