So, with the lower mass comp wheel, transient response is way better , and spool time is significantly reduced? The power band should be pulled down lower in the rev range. How much wastegate preload are you currently running with the new setup?

Robert, if you want to free up a couple of channels in your daq you can use a piezometer ring at the compressor inlet. This will do the averaging of inlet pressure for you.

So for those of us that allready have the green;

1) What do you expect the turnaround time to be, if we send you the turbo?

2) Approx how much will it cost?

3) will it make any more power?, or is it just going to spool faster?

Was this same type of testing done for the 35R HTA?

If so... what type of conclusions did you reach when comparing the data between turbos?

I remember reading about Ray Hall at Autronic doing compressor tach stuff a year or two ago. Cool stuff.
