When will these turbos be available, and will they cost any more than the standard evo green?

Wow, just as I figured. I go to the lake to get some mowing done and something like this gets posted! Great information Robert. OKIX and I both appreciate the Forced Performance quality and performance. Soon, we'll reach our goals with our current FP Green and be ready to move on to another great FP Turbo. Thanks for all of the R&D.

Not sure how one channel replacing one channel is going to help.

Ring was the first choice but there simply isn't room in the factory snorkel to implement it without causing other problems. Integrating the ring into the comp inlet was investigated and dropped as being not proper.

This is not the first time we've gone thru this, but its the best instrumentation package yet, to the point of making our own super fast response (read; FRAGILE) thermocouple and NTC sensors, amp boxes and ancillary items.

Alpha phase is putting together the unit that should work, there are usually two or three alpha setups as things get tweeked, then on to several beta steps, late beta sometimes they get sent out to independent sources who can collect data, then we're closer to final form. This takes time.

If we answered phone calls and emails all day about rumors or stuff that doesn't exist yet, alpha and beta projects, nobody would get any work done. All forward progress around here would come to a grinding halt. Therefore don't take it personally if your question about when, where, and how much get ignored.

Personally I think Robert is crazy to share preliminary data and the process, just remember if ya **** him off he's gonna take his ball home and leave ya standing on the court with no game to play.

Was this same type of data collected in the testing of the GT35R?

If so what type of conclusions did you reach based on the data?

Okay, I see now--the three taps are tee'd into one another. At first it appeared that the taps were being logged independently.

Curious what range of transducer are you using for the inlet pressure measurement?

Robert,

Doesn't the Green already have a billet compressor wheel?

What will be the difference in the new green wheel? "aero" compressor wheel design?

So, what do we know for sure so far?

Robert. I left you a note in a PM a few days ago. If you get a chance I would be thankful if you would consider a reply.

Thanks.

Post Updates

This sounds very interesting and i've been waiting for this to be released for a while. Can you keep us updated over the pound as we like fast spooling std turbo frame set ups to When will the official release be? will it flow any more than the normal FP green top end?

I knew it! Come back to work monday and the box is full. I'll try to get thru some emails, collect the popular questions and reply to them all in one post.

But to the guys thinking the price will go up, think again. Price should drop when this unit gets released.

THANKS FOR THE INTEREST!

If you read this thread, Robert already stated that the new FP Green will flow about the same as the current one (~47 lb/min), but should have better spoolup. I'm going to see if I can convince my buddy to put one on his IX.
