Angry HELP! Car wont SHIFT into any gears!

Alright this sux but ok, Car was running fine, went driving, car was fine.
But then came bad luck.
I was in 1st, and noticed i could not shift into 2nd. Then after a while i couldn't shift into ANY gears!. I Turned car off and it shifts perfectly fine.

Before this happened, car was shifting fine, i put a new after market stage 3 clutch in about 3, 4 months ago, so i don't think its the clutch. also no slippage or anything.

also i believe when i got the clutch it also came wit pressure plate

Any Idea'S??
Im not home now im at school, so i don't got my garage or tools to work on it. probly have to pay a mechanic or something. I just want to go in and know whats wrong with it and what to fix you know?

i got home because i started car off in 2nd gear, and when i got moving i could sometimes shift into gears, but i had to force it.

Any suggestions?
Pressure Plate?

I was getting suggestions of something as simple as clutch pedal adjustments or fork.
and if you need anymore info please ask!

Thank You!

check shifter linkages.....the linkages might have snapped themselves, try moving it by hand with the car off, right on the tranny that is....

With your car off, ebrake off and not touching the brakes, put it in first gear and then start the car. Does the car move? If not, when you let out the clutch, where does it grab and start moving?

try adjust the pedal as high as poss. If that doesn't help..your discs are either toast, or maybe your pressure plate is done. I had the same, or similar issue couple months ago. Turned out to be bad clutch discs. Here is a list of things i wasted my time trouble shooting:
Bled clutch
New Master cylinder
New Slave cylinder
Adjust clutch pedal
...now, bleeding the clutch helped out for about 30mins, then car went back to hard as hell shifting.

my vote, clutch discs. This is what my problem looked like:

I recently had a pressure plate break, and I had the same symptoms. One of the little arms had a crack in it, the clutch pedal felt fine, but it would not release. I think you may have a similar problem

How about checking your pedal height when it starts to move.

I am trying to help you but you keep jumping to the next level.

Go put your car in first and see where the pedal is when the car starts to move.

A simple clutch adjustment may be the only thing you need.

It's 100% your clutch. My friends GTI just had the same problem. What clutch do you have? Stage 3 doesn't really help. You could have toasted it already.
